Payment
All orders are subject to management approval. Any errors in calculations are subject to correction. Payment is due before delivery. A 1% Service charge (18% annual) will be charged on all account balances 30 days or more past due. All refunds will be mailed by check or credit card. Store credits are valid for one (1) year from date of issuance and can only be used for purchases made after the date of issuance.
Delivery
Estimated delivery time for customers own material special orders, begins when factory receives all customer’s material. Time is not of the essence. The customer accepts responsibility for providing access to premises and making sure that items purchased can be delivered through the entrance, elevator, hallways, doorways, etc… Customer bears the costs of hoisting and unusual delivery methods. If customers own items are moved by Cornerstone it is at customer’s risk. Cornerstone is not responsible for any damage to customer’s property unless reported before delivery driver leaves premises.
Special/Custom Orders
Special and custom orders cannot be cancelled after 72 hours. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production can begin. Cornerstone makes no warranty of Suitability or Merchantability of any product for any particular place or use. Balance is due before delivery. Merchandise held over 30 days from availability to delivery must be paid in full and is subject to storage charges.
Return Policy
Special order items are not cancelable after 72 hours from date of invoice. Clearance and floor sample items are final sale and not returnable. Exchanges and returns for specially shipped items are subject to re-delivery and/or restocking charges.
Warranty
Merchandise is warranted against manufacturers defects. No merchandise is warranted for suitability or merchantability for a particular place. Normal wear and tear is not warranted. Cornerstone will repair or replace, at its option, any items that are defective. This warranty is null and void if the products were used in a way that they were not intended, or if products were placed in an environment that does not provide optimal conditions such as: exposure to direct sunlight, excessive moisture or spills, or ambient humidity levels below 30-40%. Cornerstone’s warranty is non transferable.
Softening of a cushion core or loss of cushion crown is also typical with use. These normal conditions are not manufacturers’ defects and are not covered under this warranty. Any damage upon delivery must be noted on the delivery receipt. Damage not noted on delivery receipt will be determined to be customer damage, and not warranted. Visible defects or variance to order details must be brought to our attention within 7 days of delivery. Issues not presented within 7 days of delivery will be considered acceptable and will not be warranted.
